Florence Ting
Associate
Florence read law at the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining the firm, Florence was employed in the private trust sector and was involved in the setting up and administration of Singapore and foreign trusts, advising on trust structures, incorporating asset holding companies and assisting in compliance reviews.
Florence’s practice includes matrimonial and family matters including divorce, annulment, Wills and Trusts as well as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship. Florence also acts and advises individuals and corporate entities on civil and commercial disputes.
Florence is an active volunteer with the Appropriate Adult Scheme for Young Adults (AAYS) and was awarded the Friends of MINDS Award in 2022.

Kyle Sim
Director
Kyle read law at the University of Liverpool. Prior to setting up Engarde, Kyle was employed by an established law firm in Singapore. He is experienced in all aspects of contentious matrimonial proceedings and is regularly instructed on complex high net worth divorces for both Singaporean and expatriate clients.
Kyle also has an active criminal defense practice having acted as lead and junior counsel for clients facing charges under, among others, the Penal Code, Prevention of Corruption Act, Companies Act, Securities and Futures Act, Computer Misuse Act, Women’s Charter and Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid Selling (Prohibition) Act. Kyle has appeared before the State Court and High Court for civil and commercial matters and has represented clients for adjudications under the Security of Payments Act and appeared before the Strata Titles Board.
Kyle has a strong belief in ensuring access to justice and he has volunteered as counsel for numerous matters under the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme, most recently acting as lead counsel in a High Court criminal matter.
