Florence read law at the University of Birmingham. Prior to joining the firm, Florence was employed in the private trust sector and was involved in the setting up and administration of Singapore and foreign trusts, advising on trust structures, incorporating asset holding companies and assisting in compliance reviews.
Florence’s practice includes matrimonial and family matters including divorce, annulment, Wills and Trusts as well as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship. Florence also acts and advises individuals and corporate entities on civil and commercial disputes.
Florence is an active volunteer with the Appropriate Adult Scheme for Young Adults (AAYS) and was awarded the Friends of MINDS Award in 2022.

Kyle read law at the University of Liverpool. Prior to setting up Engarde, Kyle was employed by an established law firm in Singapore. He is experienced in all aspects of contentious matrimonial proceedings including situations involving family violence, claims for interim maintenance, access applications as well as appeals. Kyle is regularly instructed on complex high net worth divorces for both Singaporean and expatriate clients.
Kyle also has broad experience in criminal matters having acted as lead and junior counsel for individuals facing charges under, among others, the Penal Code, Organised Crime Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, Remote Gambling Act, Securities and Futures Act, Computer Misuse Act, Women’s Charter, Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid Selling (Prohibition) Act, Computer Misuse Act as well as companies charged with regulatory offences. Kyle has appeared before the State Court and High Court for civil and commercial matters, represented clients for adjudications under the Security of Payments Act and has also appeared before the Strata Titles Board for both Management Corporations as well as subsidiary proprietors.
Kyle has a strong belief in ensuring access to justice and has volunteered as counsel for numerous matters under the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme, most recently acting as lead counsel in a High Court criminal matter.
